Gift certificate, expires 1/20/2036. I just read the reviews, they would have charged my card WHICH IS MY ATM CARD, so the money would have been gone from my checking account, and not shipped me anything. Thanks for the tip off. BETTER PLAN, take their prices to Fry's and Best Buy and let them match the price. Wish they advertised besides the net, better chance they would match the price. Where are they?
Follow Ups:
"Where are they?"The TVA I visited was in Santa Monica CA. A high-end retail store. A lot of units on display in a living room atmosphere. Given the numerous demo units and premium retail location, they probably have a lot of overhead.
I am happy to hear that you were spared. They remain a sponsor on AVS, in spite of the fact that SO MANY members there have had terrible experiences. It seems that some of the threads there about TVA's bad service have been deleted. That is a shame. Money, money, money, money, money....
Best Buy would not match the 1095 for the 5686, since it was TV Authority's Internet advertising, but Frys had the set for 1195 and Best Buy matched that. Tuesday, new set!!
