A couple of things you need to know, first the wire that goes in the wall must meet building code. Several companies make such wire, Monster Cable comes to mind first. Second such work is not the job for the inexperienced. Is there a local home theatre dealer that has experience with such work? Otherwise you will end up like a friend of mine who did not get the placement of the rear channels correct. He now has 3 sets of rear channels!!
I am not doing it, but I am buying the materials. I have friends who are professional cablers, but they usually deal with phone cable, CAT5, etc. The skill is there, but they can't get the audio "parts" from their normal channels. So, does anyone know where I can buy such things?

Check the Kimber Kable, Audioquest and Monster Cable websites, they will let you know what they have that meets your requirements. For example Monster makes RG6 cable that is reasonably priced. The wall outlets are made by QED & Sonance. Contact May Audio and they can give you the names of dealers. I think I have some websites, send me your email & I will forward them to you.
