How can I add better 2ch stereo performance to my already dd & dts ht systemI want to be able to have a nice ht system ( witch I am satisfied with now ) however, I want to have amazing 2ch performance, do I have to get a seperate amp or can I use my exsisting one or should I have 2 seperate systems, maybe a pre-amp..?????
help
You have mentioned most ways of improving 2 ch. performance. Do you already have a separate amp now or a receiver? What is the rest of your system? If you give more specifics you can get better help.Adding a 2-channel amp will help. I'm not sure how you'd improve 2ch performance w/o adding an outboard amp or separating the systems. Using a completely separate preamp and amp with a different pair of speakers would be optimum, but if you want the systems to be integrated, adding a 2ch amp on the fronts should help.
Again, give all the specifics and people can help you more effectively.

You have two pairs of fronts. What are you currently using? Or are you using both? If you want to use the SD as fronts, I would recomment first getting a matching center, then surrounds. If HT is really secondary, I would start a separate music system (space allowing) with an integrated amp and a pair of quality bookshelfs.RichardH
I am using two sets of front speakers A+B
