Has anyone had any experience with using the Triad Gold speakers in a home theater. I have the Atlantic Tech 370 speakers, and an wondering if I should upgrade when my new HT room is built. The Triads were recommended to me by the room designer. Thanks.
About the Triad Speakers, I have the Gold and the THX Gold. What is really needed to know is, are you wanting these for home theater or just for music? Just to let you know, I have had mine for about 8 years. The Golds are a very clear sounding speaker and are great for just about anything. The THX Golds are more directional because of their horn dispersion, but detail really comes through. I would also say it depends what you are driving them with, as they are a bit power hungry. If you need more info let me know.

hi,
Theater guys love Triad. Stereo guys think they are ok, but pick something else.
If you like the Atlantic Tech. speakers you have, why not upgrade to the next AT system? If it's only for HT, I'm sure the AT will not dissapoint. I'm not familiar with Triad, is there a URL?RichardH
The URL is www.triadspeakers.com. The AT speakers are not bad for HT, but I wanted something that would work better with music (I seem to be listening to a lot of concert DVDs), and the Triad Gold speakers were recommended.
hi,
my theater guys didn't have triads to demo. They wanted me to take
them on faith... Well, i got to hear them, and as i said, they were ok. But if music floats your boat, you simply have to go listen, and see what you like.
