Why are people accepting lip sync problems. The problems are on DVD players, broadcast TV, cable TV, satellite TV - everywhere. Why can't the various manufacturers and broadcasters get their act together?I think the problem is that people are not willing to demand a reasonable amount of quality for the services and products which they pay for. If you buy a DVD with lip sync problems, take it back and demand the 3 R's (repair, replace or refund). If your cable or satellite system has lip sync problems, call them and insist they fix the problem. If they won't fix the problem in a reasonable time, report them to the appropriate authorities (city hall and the FCC respectively). If your broadcast TV station has lip sync problems, call them and insist that they fix the problem. If they won't fix the problem in a reasonable time, call their advertizers. Until and unless people complain about these technical problems, nothing will get done. If the business people who manage these companies get the idea that they can sell any old c***, then before long you will have to reboot your TV in the middle of the evening news (or am I confusing that with my operating system).
