Hello all,I'm looking to upgrade my present dvd player and have considered a few different machines. The Panasonic DVD-H1000D, the upcoming Princeton Graphics, and the upcoming EAD Theater Vision P. Now I'm in no rush to go out in the next few days and buy a new player so I thought while I was searching the web for information that I would ask owners of their opinions of the unit. I'm also interested in Universal Players if anyone has any information.
My biggest area of concern with these players is the analog and digital outputs. I already understand the video quality but so far as I've found on the web no one has looked or really explained about the audio performance. And last, looking at the Panasonic web site it doesn't explain if the unit supports a detachable power cord. Any information will be helpful.
Thanks
Jim
This may help. I too am interested in a Panasonic DVD H1000D player and I found some helpful reviews--by owners! Check out www.audioreview.com. Look under DVD Players. The jist that I took from these reviews is that everyone loves this machine, the only gripe was that is was too expensive, however, it seems to be coming down in price.
Hope this helped.
check etown.com they have a review and list every feature.
