With the new lines of hard-disk recorders from Sony, Panasonic &
Philips, how does one maintain the flexibility of recording shows
on one machine and watching it on another. For example, if I have
two machines, one in my family room and one in the bedroom, how do
I watch the show that was recorded using the family room's recorder
in the comfortable setting of my bedroom? It seems that this feature
is lost with the introduction of the hard-disk recorders._Spike
I don't know the details of your machine but does it have a SCSI port ? If it does you could add a SCSI drive at each machine and resord to the external drives not the internal. This would allow you to move the data from 1 machine to the other.
Steve
you don't. Tivo and replay didn't initially consider the idea that you might have more than one. (all the major manufacturers license either replay or tivo)
