I recently auditioned a 36" Sony Trinitron Wega XBR and a Loewe 16:9 digital TV (32"), and was agape at the picture quality difference! The Loewe was sharper and more natural, less harsh than the Sony. I don't think I need the 16:9 version, a 4:3 would do fine for most of my viewing. I used my Canon GL-1 3-CCD camcorder as video source with a S-cable. I also saw the Loewe playing a DVD about a mouse (forget which movie), simply fantastic! Anyone got opinions on the wegas (non-XBR) and/or the Loewe digital TV's, and also perhaps the quality difference I saw? Thanks in advance!
I have seen both sets and agree that the Loewe is certainly better. Of course the Loewe is more money & so should be better.
