The avg. person (not an audio/video enthusiast) is probably more than satisfied with a $65 upconverting DVD player. For $170, the Oppo 980 is pretty darn good. So I don't see them converting the avg. person unless the price is under $100. If Blu-Ray hardware comes close in price, they're probably not going to capture the audio/video enthusiast either as those are generally willing to pay a drop more for quality. So what's their target market? Cheap audio/video enthusiasts?

Why is this company so oblivious to the obvious? Until they start singin' the blus , they're gonna be singin' the blues.
