The DV-09 is a very good transport, and a passable D/A converter. I use mine with a Classe DAC1, which is a considerable improvement over the onboard item.It makes a nice combination - great transport for CD playing and an excellent DVD player, though I feel guilty once in awhile, not using half the circuitry ;-)

maybe I'll experiment with various equipment in the future w/ the DV-09, that's always fun! As far as CD playback goes, I'm satisfied...for now... > : )
