I have an older tv, only has coax cable in and no rca cable in.
I want to buy a DVD player and use it now until I can afford a new TV. Is there an adapter I can use to convert RCA to coax?
Thanks

Sony makes a RF box for viewing their Handycams on Coax inputs. It's quite a bit smaller than RS's box. Here's somewhere I found it for sale...http://www.1cache.com/1cache/sonrfu9rfuad.html
Good luck.
Sold at radio Shack for about $30, it converts from RCA to Coax.dg
I'm guessing your old TV will only accept RF in. To convert the output from a DVD player to this would destroy picture quality. Buy a TV with component input & you will be amazed at DVD quality. To answer your original question it is not a case of converting plugs. The signal is completely different.
Peace at AA
