I bought a new Wega 32FS12 and the first one I got had a problem with the Video 4 mode (not 1,2,3 or TV) where the picture was green. Of course, the video 4 mode is for component video. I've tried the component on 2 DVD players and I don't even need to have anything connected to video 4. I just turn up the brightness a bit and instead of it going from black to grey, it's green. Video 1,2,3 are grey. Now the 2nd TV just got dropped off, well guess what? It's the same! Obviously there is someone at the factory not setting these sets up properly.
The demo 32FS12 at the store does NOT do this. Anyway I am through with having to move furnature for this TV. I will not get a third. Can anyone tell me if there is a service menu setting for Video 4 only? There must be because when they are setting these up at the factory, someone is not calibrating Video 4 but is setting up TV/Video1/Video2/Video3.
Does Sony really believe that no one is using Component Video when 90% of their DVD players have it?

are u using progressive scan outputs? won't work, could cause this.
No, as mentioned about, the TV just has to be plugged in with nothing hooked up to it and it does this. The technician came and stumped him too, there was nothing he could do.
