Hi,Does anyone have bad experiences playing CDs on DVD changers ?
How good are Sony DVD changers at this job ? (other than the
fact that they cannot play CD-R format)Thanks in advance

Follow Ups:
A freind of mine owns the Sony unit. It is a MAJOR issue to us that it deos not play CD-R's, but you knew that already.
It has seemed to work well, and we have only had one mechanical problem (disc did not drop back into changer properly after being played, it was thenground around the machine sticking .5 inch out of it;s slot. The disc itself was mangled to death, the player continues to wrok ok.
I think it is slow and noisy, but not especially so for a mega changer.
Sonics are fine IMO. I would advise you buy a unit such as this and spend another $300 on Aurios Mediua Isolation BEarings, rather than spending more for a CDP. The Bearing isolate the CPD and improve sonics immensely. This effect is most dramatic with lower level stuff, and teh bearings work quite well onteh sony player.dg
I have a Pioneer DV-09 that sounds way better than my Sony CA80ES CD changer, it sounds more smooth, natural and dynamic. If you're looking for an all-in-one unit, sounds good to me, why not?
