Jose,Speaker selection is very idiosyncratic to one's taste. I've used the Definitive Tech's in the past (still use the BP2000-2002 combo in my bedroom) with very positive reactions. They use a bipolar design (somewhat like the Mirage) and I liked it because it wasn't overy directive like the paradigms but it wasn't as diffuse as a truly dipolar design. Best of both worlds versus worst of both? The Def's also include a powered sub which saves on space and cost. They can be bi or tri-wired with separate LF input for 5.1 designs. Also, they are relatively benign loads for a receiver (I use a cheap Sony 60 watt receiver and it works ok for them -- I'd recommend more power though say, 100 watts minimum if you are using the 2000's). Finally, the center channel was very natural sounding. The real key in my view is to get a center channel that the person likes because it is so critical for HT.
