I would say it depends on your A1s rear power capability. How much it has and how demanding your rear speakers are regarding to the lowest impedance. The loudest levels you are likely to play has an effect as well. If you have the space you may want to try but don't expect miracles, even small ones.

Thanks on the other, I'm not looking for miracles here either, I guess worst case is the green lights on the amp will look nice in my rack. Style over substance mtry, words to live by.John
