The channel level settings made on AUTO mode, are enabled for DOLBY and STEREO surround modes. But, they are not enabled for MOVIE, HALL, MATRIX and 5CH-STEREO surround modes. Why is that for? Is there a specific reason to set them differently?I want to use my sub woofer only for home theater LFE. I set my speakers as LARGE and SUB WOOFER-YES. While listening 2CH stereo music, if the receiver was in AUTO mode, it selects the STEREO mode automatically and sends no signals to sub woofer as supposed to be. But, if I select STEREO or 5CH-STEREO mode, it sends bass signals to sub woofer even if all the speakers set as LARGE. How can I prevent this?
One way is to select the SOURCE-DIRECT mode, but of course it is impossible to select 5CH-STEREO while SOURCE-DIRECT is ON.
Am I missing something?
