Can anyone recommend a good indoor antennae for UHF reception of HDTV broadcast?
Follow Ups:
In my opinion, there is no such thing as a good indoor antenna, especially for HDTV. I tried the indoor loop antennas and the like, but eventually had to set up a traditional Yagi-type UHF antenna on my back porch. It costs anywhere from $20 to $40 for such an antenna and outperforms any "amplified" antenna on the market. Also, another thing I discovered is that using a signal amplifier does not help. Because HDTV receivers have built-in processing to work around multi-path problems, what matter more is the signal-to-noise ratio instead of the overall strength of the signal. A poor signal amplifier, in my case, actually made the reception worse.
