Hi
A home theater help book tells me to go from VCR out to AVR in & AVR out to TV in, but it also says to check with the owners manual first. The VCR owners manual says to go from VCR out to TV in & TV out to AVR in. Which one is better or correct.
Follow Ups:
Controlling all of your equipment through the AVR is probably the most convenient way to go. Connecting all of your equipment to the AVR first will allow you to control the audio/ video switching etc. with the single AVR remote.
By connecting your VCR to your TV,listening to your the soundtracks from your VCR means that the signal passes through the TV's audio circuitry first and then through the AVR's- an unecessary extra step.
