I have been looking around for a while, and found that the best sounding speaker in my price range, was the PSB Image series. I have the Image3LRs right now and I plan on matching all of my speakers with the Image series. Now I could either get the 2Bs as surrounds, place the 3LRs as the mains, the subsonic6 and the 9c as my center. I have heard all of these speakers and I find them to be the best for me. Another setup I have thought of would be to get the 7PTs, which have a built in sub in them, and use them as my main/sub, put my 3LRs in the rear and the 9c as my center. I find floorstanding speakers to fill rooms more effeciently, so that is why I thought of the 7PTs. Would I get a much better sound with the floorstanding as my main/sub?Also, my speakers are bi-wireable, but right now I dont have them bi-wired. Will Bi-wiring improve the sound quality a hwole lot and how so? I have heard that it helps a lot, and that it does very little. Thanks in advance

I've got 3LRs as mains, 1Bs as surround, 8C as the center and a Alpha Subsonic 5.Advice: Stick with the same drivers in the system. That means, ideally, pair the 3LRs with the 8C. All have 5 1/4 inch drivers -- in fact they are the same speakers with the exception of the 8C has the tweeter in the middle while the 3LRs have the tweeter on top. I used the 1B surrounds because they also have the 5 1/4 inch driver.
You mentioned buying the 9Cs and the 2Bs. Keep in mind that those speakers use the 6 1/2 inch drivers. I don't mind the Alpha Sub 5, but if I had it over again, I'd upgrade to the bigger Alpha Sub 6.
I've had my setup for about a month now and am extremely pleased. The setup is seamless since I'm using the same speakers for the front three channels. I've paired the speakers with a Pioneer Elite VSX-35TX which will allow for expanding the system to a 7.1 setup. Eventually, I may get the 10S surrounds and move the 1Bs to the rear.
