I recently subscribed to digital cable. I noticed that the back of the Motorola terminal had a knock out for S-Video and another knock out for SPDIF. Also the front of the box claims Dolby digital. I called the cable company and they said they were looking into getting digital terminals with S-Video and Digital audio output.

Now I wait or switch to satellite.

Seems like a nationwide problem of ignorance.
