Meridian look like coming out with some nice products in a few months - they are part of the DVD-A crowd, not liked on hi-rez. Not sure about SACD myself so will see what emerges re surround sound etc. I'm not too fussed about no DTS at the moment. For movies etc DD 5.1 seems fine & new release music DVDs are using DD 5.1, not DTS. This is not to say DTS is not better as reported, just that the software is limited, the gains not huge so the expense to get it (as the sole reason to upgrade) is not justified IMO.
