5 channel amp with good 2 channel perfomance

Have classe ssp-25/meadowlark heron i front/kestral rear/ cary 303 dvd player. I am looking to upgrade my current amp(adcom), to a more "musical" sounding amp. I don't have the budget to have 2 systems, so I need something that does good 2 channel and 5 channel. So far I am looking at EAD PM1000, Bel Canto evo 200.6, bryston 9bst, are at the top fo the list. I want to stay below 3500-3750 bux. Comments? other suggestions? (music 75/HT 25)

You will not be able to beat the Bryston. Their is a dealer who advertises in the back of Stereophile that can probabely sell it to you for about 800.00 off the list price. Audio Assoc. or something like that.
