only heard the vandersteen, but i hear another model, the vandersteen v2w is better and worth searching out if both music and home theatre are important, as i is suspect is the case if you have magnepans. i heard it briefly in store and was impressed also, it's one of best subs according to widescreen review subwoofer issue.
