Follow Ups:
I got the Planus for 2375 on closeout, and it's widescreen. If you watch a lot of DVD's, I highly recommend going widescreen. And 4:3 programming is no big deal with the cinema mode on. www.loewetv.com or www.loewe.de are the official websites. Loewe is tops in quality. I like Mitsubishi rear-projections also. The Loewe Aconda is the Planus' replacement, and is flat-screen, flat-tube, and high def. it also stickers for 3250 i believe. good luck...
If you go to www.sensoryscience.com they have information on that model. I have a similar model (Planus) and love it. From what I hear they are reliable. www.audioreview has a few consumer reviews of them also. I would highly suggest setting the NTSC standard to on when viewing. This turns off the scan velocity modulation and sets the parameters fairly closely to NTSC standard (go figure). Etown also has a review of that tv. Good Luck.Peace,
