I bought new prescription glasses with anti-reflective coating yesterday, brand name was "Invisibles". This offers incredible clarity of vision with no light smearing. They are relatively new and cost $80 extra for glasses, but man what a difference you can see in all kinds of light, especially night driving or theater viewing. You supposedly can see about twice the sharpness over regular lenses under these conditions.Kurt
Follow Ups:
My previous eyeglasses were from Lens Lab. Blah. There was always a gray glare on everything. Of course, my prescrption changed (too much daily computer work) and I bought new lenses at the optometrist. Zeiss. Omigawd. Life is so much better in any light, now. I should've known. I guess we should shop for eye hardware as well as we shop for music hardware, huh? Anyway, get anti-reflective polycarbonate lenses...from Zeiss if you can.Check the link, and click on Eyeglasses.

It has been available for over ten years. IMHO the best anti reflective glasses are Zeisse ( I am not sure about the spelling) lens. It is German company.indy
do they have a web site?
I don't know of a web site, I got these at "LensCrafters". My wife says they actually have been around for about 4 years, but after I got new glasses the time before, so I just heard about them. Check with your eyeglass store or optometrist. I just love 'em. Best vision I remember ever having. Better than contact lenses, better than regular lenses, better than Lasik surgery.Kurt
