Excellent pre/pro for my tastes. My priorities are leaning toward the musical side but I still wanted to be able to take advantage of HT and not
compromise. The sound I have now for 2ch is comparable to when I had a dedicated 2ch system of Threshold/ML/Wilson plus the benefit of HT and ?
multichannel music in the future. The DAC's on this unit are all 24/48
of the highest quality (Mondial resisted the 24/96 trend which was/is marketing hype until the SACD/DVD-A battle shakes out). I've had no problems with the unit and have owned it for close to a year. Adam Gershon
at Mondial answers questions via email directly which was pretty nice.
I guess my only concern is the recent acquisition of Mondial by Klipsch and
how that may effect future tech support and upgradibility.
Product Weakness: | big, recent sale of Mondial to Klipsch |
Product Strengths: | Excellent for music in 2 channel stereo, analog bypass and 6 ch. bypass, balanced outputs |
