for the GFA-7500

A powerful amp with solid dynamics, a firm hold on the bass, and able to drive difficult loads, this amp excels at home theater. As for 2 channel music, it is certainly an adequate product, but is a tad 'bright' and forward. It presents the music on a very 2 dimensional soundstage, with very little depth. Also, there is some apparent treble grain and hash on a wide variety of recordings.

The lack of a removable plug is also a minus.

However, given its very reasonable price of $1500 for a true 150 watts into 5 channels, it is a reasonable choice.

Product Weakness: treble is bright, sometimes 'grainy', shallow soundstage
Product Strengths: Powerful, good dynamics, strong, controlled bass, very little heat
