Rob, I've owned the 27" model Tantus for about 3 months, and I must say that I'm very pleased with it so far. I had to use the Video Essentials DVD to tweak it out of the box, and it looks fantastic IMO. I've had a few compliments on the picture quality on both DVD's and Digital Cable broadcasts. For the money and features, I couldn't be happier, although I was not aware that the line was going to be dropped by Samsung. All-in-all, I think they are a great deal.

Where'd you hear that? That really blows b/c I wanted to get my hands on one! Maybe now I can get it cheaper since they are dropping it!
But seriously, I have seen the Tantus, and it kicks the Wega's @ss. BAD.
