I have an old but beloved Mitsubishi 3503 that only has one S input. What do I do in a case where I have three potential S sources ? (Web TV, Laserdisc, DVD) If a switch box exists, where do I find one, and how much are they? How short do they make S cables? All replies greatly appreciated.

I've had the same problems... ...one S-Video input on my 27" Philips ready to be filled with DishNetwork, Laserdisc, and videogames.Sony makes a manual switch box with four inputs. Each section has S-Video, Stereo Audio and Composite Video inputs.
It cost about $30 from Radio Shack. I also think Circuit City now has a similar switch box by some other company and it is maybe around $20 or so.
I don't really notice any degradation.
Ciao,

pccables.com has an S-video AB switch for $11. It's a very inexpensive solution if you don't mind standing up and walking over to make the switch.
I had the same problem with my 35" ProScan. I've seen a switch boxe at Goodguys, I didn't like it-badley designed and exspensive. I wanted an SVHS player anyway, so I got a JVC with multible inputs. It works for me, but I guess the proper way is to use an A/V receiver, unless it's a few years old, like mine and has no Svideo jacks.

If you have a current HT AV Receiver you should definitely run all your video sources into it and utilize it's video switching g ability. If this is not the case you can try something like the RS link below, but I know nothing of the signal degradation you'll get and it's not remote capable.
