i can not get it to take the 480p component input.
it works with the 480i setting on my pioneer 434
but not the progressive. this sucks because i want to
set it up with a better deinterlaced dvd player.
to get true 3/2 pulldown. it has a built in line doubler that i want to override to get the 3/2. any comments or ideas?
my model is the version that does 480i and 480p (not 1080i or 760p)

Hey bob,on my Loewe Planus 16:9 the only input which takes a 480p input is the vga input[15 pin].You need a transcoder that takes the component cables on one end and plugs into vga input on the other end.Dont bother getting a 3 rca to 15 pin[like Tributaries makes, I tried it, doesnt work].I have not tried this yet,I am still deciding which prog. scan dvd player to get[panasonic new player sounds promising]but Chuck Moe has and helped me out with this.Thanks,Chuck!Website is www.keydigital.com.Good luck and let me know how it works out for you.
