does Sony 9000 ES put out 96/24??

The 9000ES does deliver 96/24 digital out. There is even a setting for digital output format (96/24 or 48/16) depending on your pre-amp capabilities. As far as I know, the output is real 96/24.
I have not checked it out yet, but my Theta CasaNova will display the specs on the digital stream that is currently being sent...
