i'm am planning on using the dvd player in my laptop for home video until i get my sony 9000es player. i have been told that i need a S cable to hook the tv to the notebook dvd player. any suggestions as to what cable to purchase? i want to make sure that i can use the cable when i finally switch to the sony DVD player.thanks for your suggestions.

Follow Ups:
The new player you anticipate (9000) will eventually be hooked up via component video connections, not S Video (unless your TV has no component inputs, in which case you should consider throwing some money into that box).
So - any 'ole S video cable will do for now.Again, if your TV has no component in's, you should just save the money you would have spent on a top notch cable for a future video upgrade, because a TV with no component probably isn;t gonna benefit big time from a pricey cable.
