I've tried Monster component cables as well as some very expensive silver component cables(the name will go unmentioned) and on my Pananic Tau widescreen I cant see a bit of difference using a JVC progressive scan as a source. While I've always found rather dramatic differences in sound quality in audio applications I can't honestly say I have ever seen a difference in visual quality among reasonably made video cables...joe
I tried the cables that came with my dvd player (got me up and running); bought some cables based on no name coax (slightly better); I am now running some custom Canare cables (much better). I guess my next step will be to try some silver plated cables. Each change made the picture better. ...Paul
