There are too many variables you have not mentioned (perhaps they are net set in stone?)

The most important thing you could provide is efficiency of your speakers.
Also- are you using powered sub(s)?

All of these things will influence the power you need.

For example I have a two channel HT right now in a 2500 cubic foot room with 35 watts per channel.

Most HT receivers should provide ample power for a start (60-100w)
