Helping a friend put together a new moderately priced system. He just bought the Technics A-10. I'm looking for a AV receiver in the $800-1200 price range that has 5.1 analogue inputs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Jason Lind

Pioneer Elite VSX-36TX. I own one, using Dynaudio Audience speakers and a REL sub. It's very good, and will be about $900 with typical web discounts.
NAD T751 and T761 have analog bypass for stereo sources (eg CD input) and 5.1.
Denon AVR-2400 with 5.1 analog inputs and I do own one.
