I want to buy a flat screen 27" TV. I have looked at the Sony Wega models and they look good but the price is a little more that I care to spend. I have also noticed that JVC makes a model AV-27F702 and there is also the Panasonic Tau CT-27SX10. Crutchfield sells both for $599. I know there are cheaper places than Crutchfield but their delivery charge is only $20 and due to my remote location I have no local dealer to choose from. Does anyone have any experience and opinions on the mentioned JVC and Panasonic sets? What about reliability and service from these companies? I will be using the TV with a satellite dish and a Pioneer DV-333 (non-progressive). Also, if anyone else can recommend another on line dealer that has cheap (or free) shipping (to No. California), that would also be appreciated.Eat Mo' hot sauce

I bought a Panasonic 27SX10 & like it. Only caveats are the built-in speakers are poor, the color intensity needs to be turned way down, and the remote needs to be pointed directly at the set. I am using it with a Sony DSS receiver, Sony SLV-750HF VCR, and, connected via component inputs, Sony DVP-NS-400D DVD player.
