I dropped by my local dealer today, to peruse the Loewe Aconda, but my salesman said I should think about going projector. He has a huge Seleco, RGB CRT's, huge lenses, hooked to a 10 grand line doubler, and the projector itself it 16k. I was blown away by the performance, especially compared to a smaller 6k Sony LCD projector. Of course, 10k difference there. But truly, the picture had amazing color saturation, clarity, and huge image quality...on a 100' screen. Time to save for one of these pups...hehheh!

Probably not i n the same class, but only $6k.
Add a $1k Quadscan and I think you are getting pretty stellar image wise.
I had aformer CRT owner who found it to have excellent blacks.

Actually, it is the $16K Seleco that is not in the same class as a $6K Sanyo XP21N. Seleco's are vastly overpriced for their performance. Sanyo currently makes the best digital front projectors.
