Anyone looked at the new DVD-RP61? How does the non-progressive performanced (i.e. interlaced) compare with the stellar DVDRV80? There are no local dealers carrying either for me to compare. My dad is buying a DVD player for a non-progressive TV, but will likely upgrade to progressive in the intermediate term. He wants a DVD player now that can make that transition but not compromise interlaced performance.

the rp-61 isn't currently available. panasonic told one well known dealer august. panasonic itself says june or july. g
I called Lets Go Digital (http://www.lgdsuperstore.com) yesterday, and they have it in stock or can get it within 1-3 days.
