Hi!I am a total non-electric rookie, but am willing to learn. I could use some advice on what to purchase for what I want to do.
I am throwing a party for my parents -- their kind of music. I want to make mixed cd's to play so they can dance to a mix of old stuff (not the kind of music you can typically download.) I want to be able to copy selected songs from a variety of cd's, onto one or two cd's for the party. Is this possible technically, and what does it take?
I have 2 fairly late-model pc's, with both internal and external slots/ports available. Both have internal cd drives. I would actually prefer something I could just attach externally, so I could use it on either machine.
Hope this isn't too basic a question! I have never bought anything like this before, or downloaded any music before. If anyone could help, that would be great! much appreciated! Nan

Hi Nan!
If you are only going to use it to record music you might want to check the stand-alone cd recorders. The only record music and they used taxed cd blanks (esentially the same as the normal cd blanks, but this are about $0.20 more expensive to pay the music reconding industry, or so I read somewhere), but they are a breeze to use and are almost error free.Isma
You would probably do better with a search of the the General Asylum and the Digital Asylum. There's a lot of information about CDRWs there. If you'll e-mail me, I can give you a few pointers. I'm not an expert but I do have some experience and can point you to some vendors to get a good deal.Good Luck.
