I get color streaks when using component output. But I do not get them when using s-video output. Are these color streaks water marks or ...etc. ?? Also why do I see it only on component output and not so much (or obvious !) when using s-video ?Thank for all inputs !

This is going to sound like an absurd question, do you have the Y/Pr/Pb cables connected correctly at both ends?Something worth checking at least.
Regards,
What do they look like, like a sync problem?, Is the picture off color? Need more info?
Sometimes different fint color lines (e.g., blue, red, ..etc.) appears across the screen. Ive noticed this on two different DVD players. But predominately only when using component video; not so much component video.Could these fint color lines be watermarks used for copyright protection ?
Strange, with component, you should get the highest quality picture.
You have the correct cable for component, I assume, and settings on your TV are set correctly for component. Could be a bad cable, or a loop thru impeadance mismatch, termination, on one of the color signals. Make sure the settings on the set are not for RGB, it should be set for component.
