svm in a word, sucks. i took my toshiba apart to manually disconnect the svm board (and i am NOT very handy). that is how bad it is, pic is much improved since then.

Well, I actually wanted to know why it sucked, but that's O.K., some other posters on another forum pointed the problems out. They were loss of detail and hard edges on objects.Thanks for the reply.
