,the only bad part, is right above the original picture these televisions put 1 green line, 1 red line, 1 blue, each above the other. Confirmed this on 3 sets. Under the 3 lines is a short white line or dash. Since I was compressing a signal generated from the tuner, maybe it's garbage you wouldn't see on an anamorphic picture, who knows. Regardless, the picture is outstanding, better than many. To bad I didn't consider Philips before, but I thought of their lower performance line, the Philips/Magnavox label, but these sets definately compete with JVC, Sony, and Toshiba.
