Read your post with great enthusiasm, since I'm also looking at the Sony HDTV models. Too bad you didn't get any knowledgeable responses.

I've found good pricing online with the 36XBR400s, but I also saw some complaints, which scared me off. Have you made a decision yet? If you found some good information, I appreciate it if you could let me know.
