If I want to use a DVD as a CD transport (for now anyway) and it has a coax and toslink output, can I use the coax output for CDs and the toslink for DVD playback??
Follow Ups:
Yes, if both your receiver and dvd player allow it. You might try using the coax into the DVD input and the TOSlink into the CD input (or vice versa) and that way, your receiver will *think* they are two seperate devices. Otherwise, it might always choose one or the other as default if they're both in the same input.oz
