Have seen this for sale at fairly cheap prices now. I was wondering if you guys have any experinece with it? I like the sound of the 'direct' mode that can handle an analog input with processsing in the digital domain. Any experiences?Thanks

I have an AVP-8000 in my bedroom. THere are two different units: AVP-8000 and AVP-8000DTS (includes DTS decoding). It's awesome. Plenty of inputs and outputs (many more than my Sunfire Theater Grand in my HT setup). THe sound quality is excellent. It retails for $3500.00 - $4000.00.
