Just picked up one of these yesterday. Really nice player not too much plastic as it's only about 2" tall. But I can't find any info on it not even on the Pioneer website. Anybody else have one?

The Pioneer web site has it listed now.
Crutchfield just put the '440 up on its web site. I put the link below. You should find some good information there. It looks like a lot of player for a mere $200. I was surprised to see that its equipped with a Burr-Brown DAC. I love its small footprint and am considering it for playback of MP3-encoded CDs. Have you tried the '440 as a CD player? How does it perform?By the way, if you go to the Crutchfield link, you will notice that there is no information provided on "The Nitty-Gritty" page yet. Crutchfield only fills in this page after they have been able to run a unit through its paces. It usually takes time for them fill in this page for new products (note that they are only taking pre-orders now). However, you might want to check back over the next couple of weeks to see if they have filled in this page as it will offer some of the most comprehensive information on the player anywhere on the web. Nevertheless, the link below should be a good start.
Haven't tried it for music cd's yet. Just bought it on the salesmans recommendation.
Would like to hear your thoughts on the '440 with CDs when you get the chance. I don't expect it to be a world-beater, but the presence of a Burr-Brown DAC intrigues me.
I'll unplug it from my video system and hook it up to my audio system and let you know what I think. I'll compare it my regular cd which is a micromega.
