Which cable offers the best price/performance value in S-VHS cables?
Follow Ups:
If you have not seen or used the cables made by BetterCables.com, you owe it to yourself to check them out. I am currently using several models of theirs, including the component video set, and a Silver Serpent digital co-ax. Build quality is first-rate, and the prices are very reasonable. Go to their Web site for more info:

Ordered AR cables on-line for my son's AV system. Lower cost than Monster and appeared to be well made.
I've been thinking about upgrading the S-Video cable from my preamp/processor to my TV and if I did, I would go with either a Monster or Audioquest cable. Both companies sell a high quality 6m cable for $120. I think the Monster is probably a safer bet, but if I did get one, I would probably go with the Audioquest, just because they're more of a specialty audio brand. I think it would be hard to go wrong with either cable, though.Todd
I'd try the Tributaries.
I like Tributaries. Love their video cables. But you should try one or two before deciding (if possible.) The inductance and resistance of each cable will be different, and will give you a different picture. Choose what's best after that!BH
Due to a change in room/system configuration, I went from using a 2 metre Monster M1000SV (top of the line Monster at the time) to a 7 metre run of Tributaries DCVS (which cost me about $60-the same size run of M1000 would have been over $200). To my surprise, the Tributaries was better. They have an outstanding reputation for their video cables, but are perhaps not a real recognizable name.
I may catch some flak here, but IMHO Monster Cable knows something about video cables, and even their best are quite affordable, available online at many sites.
Nothing wrong with Monster cable s-vid cables. I use the Monster 3 and think they perform very well. In Canada they arent cheap though. Have you looked at some of the Belden 1808a cables? I've heard they are very good.
