The Maggies, like all speakers of this type are picky about power. If the Krells work, stay with them. Happy listening.
I haven't found that to be true on any amp that handles 4ohms, but instead the usual problem of LF attenuation from under powering. In fact, my present NAD AV716 does just as well as the Bryston @ thrice the power above 60Hz.
