Did you figure out the problem?? I can tell you that on the Wega XBR's that speakers play havoc...Also a heavy transport or DVD player such as the Sonyes 9000 placed high and on the side of the television will cause the same problems...Green/red corners are classic magnetism problems as mentioned earlier...good luck

it didnt help and i am in the process of trying to get best buy to give me a new tv. has anyuone had experience trying to get a new one from best buy. any further suggetions with the tv or best buy would be much appreciated. considering i am a struggling college kid and the tv i buy is trash i would love to hear anything positive or negative.
Well, I bought my first WEGA at Tweeter. Damn thing was noisy (elctrical hum) when on, and didn't "get" certain channels. I brought it back, complained (politely), and walked out with a new one.You paid good coin for this set. Don't accept anything less than flawless function.
how long was it after you purchased it that you returned it. thanks kenneth
I don't remember specifically, but my best guess would be 2 to 4 weeks. Didn't even have to return it in the box(!).
