look at the panasonic CT30WX50------it is a 16:9 Tube that should fit into your space.
Follow Ups:
I was initially very interested in the CT34WX50, but I think it is a little too large for what I want. I've tried to find the CT30WX50 with no luck. I can find no information about it online, not even panasonics own website has it listed. Any idea where I can find more about this? Thanks for the suggestion. If I can find the CT30WX50, I think it will really work well. I hope it also has the same features as the 34" inch version but smaller.
I have seen the Panasonic 30wx50 at Harvey and Tweeter, both in NJ, for about $2300. Ken Crane's may also carry in Cal area. As JandR carry the 34wx50 for about $2300, I wonder if someone would sell the 30 inch for less? Also, Samsung sells a 30 inch widescreen for about $2000, but in a very wide box. Meanwhile, I'm looking at a Panasonic 32hx41 at JandR for $1250 (plus high shipping though}as an hdtv alternative to widescreen. Any reaction to the 32hx41?
the reason I know about the ct30wx50 is because I work for a retailer. look for either a PARA Member or PRO Member Retailer. You also might be on the right track if you find a retailer that carries the Panasonic Plasma Line
